Dying Blynd has released two EP's over the course of their existance, both under almost completely different line-ups. The only exception being the founder and only remaining original member, guitarist Brook Nelson.
A very powerful and creative debut for the foursome out of Colorado Springs, this self-titled EP combined a hard-rock focus with the symphonic sounds of violin to produce a unique musical experience. Lyrically masterful, taking a person through a rough but real life where hope can be found and dreams do come true through perserversance.
With a brand new line-up, the band steps into a new confrontational and slightly heavier direction with their new EP. The new direction also adds a female as the main vocalist and a strong growler into a second vocalist spot. The writing, both musically and lyrically, has evolved into more of a progressive rock/metal genre and there's definitely an angrier, more focused tone here.
